My BOGO Nightmare: A Warning About Dishonest Promos & Terrible Service 😡
I’m writing this as a warning about my terrible online shopping experience. I was lured in by a promotion, but the process was a nightmare, and I felt completely cheated. My final conclusion about this company is this: Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional. Will NOT return and I do NOT recommend them. This is the responses of what they offered. Return them ( even though their correct style and prescription. ) to RETURN AND REORDER to get the bogo they messed up and admitted. Simple solution? Credit back to my card used. Nah that's too easy. Attached is an upload of our conversation. Will it be printed? I doubt it. Which is not fair to other consumers. This whole ordeal forced me to contact their customer service just to try and get the simple resolution they should have offered in the first place.
Customer: Hello, your website had a BOGO offer that glitched and didn't apply to my order. I need you to credit back the cost of the second pair of glasses.
CS Rep: I apologize for the trouble. To fix this, you will need to return both pairs of glasses, and once we receive them, you can place a new order using the BOGO promotion.
Customer: You want me to return glasses that are the correct style and prescription, just to reorder them, because of your site's error? That makes no sense. Just credit my card. It's much simpler.
CS Rep: I understand, but our policy requires a return and reorder to correctly apply the promotion. I cannot issue a direct credit for the promotional amount.
Customer: This is unbelievable. You admit it's your mistake but you're making me jump through hoops to fix it. This is incredibly unprofessional.
CS Rep: I am sorry you feel that way, but that is the only solution I can offer at this time.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.

And I am so incredibly glad I did! My experience was the complete opposite of my previous one. It was fantastic from start to finish. The prescription has always been right on. I’m a big fan.
