I’m writing this as a warning to others. My attempt to order glasses turned into a multi-month saga of frustration. I have been trying to get a pair of prescription glasses ordered since late December 2021. The company first argued about making my high-index lenses, then the pair they sent didn't fit. After returning them, I was given store credit, but when I tried to use it for the same lens upgrade I originally paid for, the system blocked it. As customer experiences go, this has been an absolute nightmare. Proceed with caution. This frustrating loop is what forced me to call their customer service line, desperate for a resolution.
Customer: I've been on hold for half an hour. I'm trying to use a store credit coupon for a Transitions upgrade that I already paid for on a previous order, and I'm being told it can't be used for a lens upgrade.
CS Rep: I'm very sorry for the wait and for the trouble with your coupon. I can certainly understand your frustration. Could you please provide me with the coupon code and your order number so I can look into this?
Customer: The code is [coupon code]. This is the second time I’ve had to fight to get these 1.74 lenses ordered. It feels like your company is making it impossible for me to use the credit I'm owed.
